If things get congested or dicey, don't hesitate to use a smartbomb. I recommend doing loops around the area but staying a decent distance from the edges so you don't get blindsided. Make sure you have all 3 smartbombs, and grab any power-ups that you hopefully saved. Level 15 is the last level you'll need to do, and it's the hardest (in my opinion) because it's an assault level. As you progress through the levels, I highly recommend leaving the power-ups on the battlefield. If you mess up at all, you can use the checkpoint to resume from level 11. Reserve your money for smartbombs or more Droid Power so you can plow through enemies quicker. Many enemies still don't shoot at you, and if you feel overwhelmed, use a smartbomb. Levels 11-14 should again pose little problems. After level 10 you'll get a checkpoint, and now you can resume from this checkpoint to work on this achievement whenever you want. Just do a lap or two around the area to avoid his bullets and you should destroy the boss very quickly.
If you bought at least two Droid Power upgrades, you will destroy the first boss in literally seconds. Level 10 is the first boss fight, so you'll have to be careful that your pet doesn't get shot. Also keep in mind that your pet can't get shot but you can, so if you take damage it's not a big deal, just don't let your pet get hit. If things get dicey at all, use a smartbomb to clear the area. Levels 6-9 should pose zero problems since the majority of enemies don't shoot at you. Over the next couple levels, buy the second tier of Droid Power upgrades to make your shots more powerful, and eventually buy a second and third smartbomb. As soon as the Shooty Pet becomes available after level 5, buy it. After level 1 buy the first Droid Power upgrade, after level 2 buy a smartbomb, and then save your money. To start with, start from level 1 and make sure to collect plenty of money. This may seem daunting at first but it's not difficult at all once you get the hang of the game and plan it out properly.
To unlock this achievement, you have to go 10 levels in a row without a pet being shot (indicated by them stopping and yelling "Help!" for you to pick them up).
